Our Mission: Since 1967, The Child Care Center of First Presbyterian Church has provided quality and affordable child care in the downtown area of Asheville. The Child Care Center provides a safe, loving and age appropriate child development curriculum for children from 6 weeks to 5 years. The center services approximately 68 children from varied faiths, races, and socio-economic groups. We invite your family to share in our experience!

Tuition/ratios Infants: 3 teachers to 8 infants: $840.00 One’s Class: 3 teachers to 12 children: $750.00 Two’s Class: 3 teachers to 12 children: $725.00 Three’s Class: 3 teachers to 18 children: $685.00 Pre-K Class: 3 teachers to 18 children: $685.00 One Morning Floater Teacher (8AM-2 PM)

Program Staff Mary Nivin—Executive Director M.A. San Francisco State University Early Childhood Education California Secondary Teaching Credential 25 years of experience teaching and directing Child Development Centers.
Program Staff Many of our teachers have Associates or Four Year College Degrees. Our Staff are trained in CPR & First Aid and receive annual child development trainings.
Credentialed/Certified Teachers Our Staff continue to learn new techniques and adapt to the changing needs of our children. Enhanced Ratios Our classrooms are enrolled with smaller group sizes to enable individual growth. Kindergarten Readiness Our Pre-Kindergarten Program fosters necessary pre-literacy and pre-math skills.
