Mother’s Day Offering

Sunday, May 11 (8:45 and 10:45 a.m. services)

This Sunday we will receive our annual Mother’s Day Offering to support the mission of the First Presbyterian Child Care Center.  Since 1968, the mission of the Child Care Center has been to provide children with the highest quality of early childhood education and guidance in a loving, nurturing environment with committed, competent and caring staff.  Our support of the center is vital to its continued ministry to children and families in Asheville.

Our retreat theme is worship:  what do we say and sing and do in worship to be the church God calls us to be?  How do we trust God’s leading when worship waters seem stormy and uncertain?  How do generations, cultures and heritage find common understanding?
