Sunday mornings are an important part of our Faith Development together. Ongoing classes meet for study, reflection and deepening community bonds.  Special classes throughout the year provide engaging study, enlivened conversation, and explore of a range of topics that inform and transform our life of faith.

Special Studies

Wednesday Evening Lenten Studies

In the Lenten season we seek deeper reflection, contemplation, and growth. Following the week of Ash Wednesday we begin a five week series of Wednesday night dinners and small-group study that help develop and stretch our faith. 

Christian Discipleship Center

The Christian Discipleship Center is an ecumenical organization of 6 Asheville churches, including First Presbyterian Church, St. Eugene’s Catholic Church, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Trinity Episcopal Church, and St. Paul’s Methodist Church.  The Center provides a variety of classes for adults with study focus on Understanding Our Faith; Living Out Our Faith; Sharing Our Faith. Courses are offered quarterly to anyone interested and are located at the various churches. Leadership is provided by lay teachers, ministers or guests from the participating churches.
