Peace Vigil to support Asheville Muslim friends & community

This event is open to everyone and will have speakers of many faiths. The goal is to express to our Muslim friends and community that they are welcome here. Children are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Claiming the Beloved Community: A Conversation with CUC  
Tuesday, February 7 (6:30-8:00 PM) WNC Baptist Fellowship Church

Please join with the Christians For A United Community (CUC) Family for an evening of deep and intentional listening-to each other, and to the Spirit of God. Please bring a dessert to share-dinner will not be served. Christians For A United Community (CUC) is an interdenominational, multi-ethnic organization of churches whose mission is to help our churches and community unite to dismantle the root causes of racism and disparity.

Moral March on Raleigh  Historic Thousands on Jones Street (HKONJ) People’s Assembly
Saturday, February 11 (8:30 AM - noon)  Shaw University, Raleigh

The Moral March on Raleigh is part of a love and justice movement began by the NC NAACP civil rights leader Rev. William Barber. On February 11 thousands will gather to rally and march to the doorstep of the State Capitol.
