Free Showing of Leonardo DiCaprio’s “Before the Flood"
Follow Leonardo DiCaprio as he travels around the globe to witness first hand the effects of climate change and interviews global leaders about what they think can be done. “Before the Flood” will be shown on Friday, April 21 at 7:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation. Truth-Telling on Racial Conflicts & Doctrine of Discovery
Experience Navajo educator and dynamic visionary speaker, Mark Charles, in a presentation on a domination framework giving moral and legal rights to invade, seize and enslave people who were not Christian that dates back to the 15th century. The event is Friday, April 21, 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Warren Wilson Presbyterian Church and includes Q & A and refreshments. Free and open to the public. Donations welcome. Science March on April 22
The march starts in Aston Park at 336 Hilliard Avenue in downtown Asheville at 10 AM and ends at Pack Square downtown, where there will be speakers on the importance of investment in science as nonpartisan and fact-based.

People’s Climate Rally and March is April 29
