April 23: Generation to Generation
Come talk about First Presbyterian Church Asheville and it’s future. The last capital campaign is 2 years behind us. Worship in the beautiful renovated sanctuary enriches us each Sunday. Renovation has finished to allow for growth in the Child Care Center. New members join us monthly. Generous gifts are being made to endowment funds to be held in perpetuity.
In the midst of this growth, we humbly recognize that our current congregation has received great blessings from previous generations. We drink from wells we did not dig and sit under the shade of the trees we did not plant. Join Julie Lehman and Sarah Thornburg to talk about what we have received from previous generations, and how we might invest our resources in future generations, so that their wells will be deeper and the shade of their trees will be broader.
