Worship for Christmas Eve

December 24 Christmas Eve Worship Services

5:00pm:  Las Posadas Family Worship with Communion & Special Offering
All are invited for this intergenerational worship and to re-live the nativity story through the drama of Las Posadas in the Hispanic tradition of Latin American  countries.  Las Posadas helps us remember the Christ child who came himself as an outcast and taught us how to welcome others.  All children who attend are invited to participate in the re-enactment of the nativity at a certain point in the service.  The Passing of the Christmas light at the conclusion of the service reminds us of Christ, the light of the world. The youth assist with this worship service.  Special music is provided by both children’s choirs, kindergarten – 5th grade.

Special Outreach Ministries offering:  This benefits our Outreach Ministries with our downtown neighbors, many of whom experience homelessness: Room in the Inn, Pritchard Park, Saturday Sanctuary.
Financial gifts help to provide food and supplies for these vital ministries. Offerings of blankets, hats, gloves and socks are also appreciated!
