A program of Homeward Bound supported by local faith communities, Room in the Inn
provides an overnight stay of hospitality for women who otherwise would be homeless.
On Wednesday, November 29 at 4:30 PM (before our Wednesday night supper and Advent Celebration) we are inviting those who want to learn more about RITI to come to for a Q & A. If you are veteran volunteer, I'd love to have you come and talk with others who may be new. If you are a new potential volunteer, we would love to orient you to the program.
Hosting Room in the Inn, December 10-17: Volunteers are needed to load/unload mattresses, wash blankets, prepare dinners, serve as dinner hosts, transport women back and forth to the AHOPE Day Center, and spend the night as chaperones. Sign-up today at the receptionist desk of the Wallace Foyer lobby or RIGHT HERE.

A recent article in the Asheville Citizen-Times shares stories from some of the women in Room in the Inn. Read about it here.
